Trash Service, LLC is a locally owned and operated waste
removal company serving the needs of East Tennessee.
Founded in 2004, the company is a rapidly growing
presence in the Knoxville and surrounding area markets.
Owners Harry Gillman and Kim Gillman Turner, father and
daughter, come from years of experience in the waste
industry. Harry started his first refuse removal
business in the northern Virginia area in 1972. Upon the
sale of that facility in 1983, the family moved to
Tennessee and Harry and his wife worked as general
managers for Waste Management of North America. Upon
leaving these positions, the family went on to found
Tennessee Waste Movers and operate in all markets of
refuse removal including demolition landfill operations.
Upon the sale of the business in 1999, Harry continued
operating an asbestos removal and demolition services as
well as lead paint abatement and mold remediation and
together they run the waste removal business.Tennessee Trash Service maintains a
small, hometown family feel with most employees having
worked for the earlier waste hauling businesses. The
office staff, drivers and managers as well as owners are
all hands on and strive to provide the best service at
the best prices through above and beyond good customer
service. Our equipment is all new and well maintained
through thorough maintenances programs and daily
cleaning programs. We strive to be the best and hope to
